An Afternoon of Choral Gems

Celebrating its 49th season this year, the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society presents the 22-voice Musical Arts Singers in "An Afternoon of Choral Gems," featuring music by Joseph Haydn, Leonard Bernstein and Jerome Kern plus American folk songs and spirituals. Featured soloists include John A. Smith, Robert Peterson and Suzanne Russell.

The Musical Arts Singers ensemble was founded in 1981 by music director Dr. Douglas R. Peterson, now in his 44th season as the Society's music director.
